10 Months!

As I write this post about my 10 month old, I realize that she is actually 10 1/2 months now. And what a big girl she is turning into - Lucy Mills is pulling up to standing all the time, putting everything in her mouth, climbing up the stairs, opening the shutters, and keeping her daddy wrapped around her little finger. Here are some updated pictures of our big girl...

Charlotte Bound!

I am so excited to be heading out of town with this guy...

...for our first spend-the-night date since we became parents. Suggie is keeping Lucy Mills so that the hubs and I can have a much needed vacay. Since this mama has basically been inside our house's four walls all day, everyday, with nausea being the main culprit ( well, that and the 100 + degree temperatures) lets just say a change of scenery and some adult conversation with my best friend will do wonders! Charlotte, here we come...I hope you are ready for us!

Lucy Mills, guess who's coming to see you?

Well for the third weekend in a row my hard working hubby has been out of town for work obligations. While he flew off to Pittsburg, Suggie (my mom) and Susu (sister) came over for a girls weekend! I have to say that as much as we were sad to see Trav leave, it was so much fun to have their company. And fun we had!

Since pregnancy and I are not great friends yet, it was definitely nice to have two extra sets of hands to help with meals, Maggie and Lucy Mills.

Susan came bearing food and gifts - my two favorite things! Lets just say that Lucy Mills will never want for anything or be out of style as long as her Aunt Susu comes around…

Thank you for a fantastic girls weekend Mom and Susan! Having people around that love my child so much is a joy to see.

We are glad that Daddy had a safe trip and is back home where he belongs!

9 Months!

Yay! Lucy Mills is 9 months old!

...and her new trick this week is clapping her hands.

Along with eating her lovey.

At nine months old Lucy Mills is crawling, clapping her hands, saying "Da-da," getting used to having 2 bottom teeth, eating crackers and fruit, mimicking faces I make, pulling up in her crib, drinking out of a sippy cup, waving her hands, and loving all her stuffed animals.

On the move.

And it was just a matter of time before this happened.

With all of Daddy's guitar time, Lucy Mills is ready to start practicing!

Maggie is still getting used to sudden sneak ups!

We are pulling up all by ourselves. We can sit on our knees or pull all the way up to our feet. Good thing Daddy lowered the crib last week!
