Funny Friends and New Things

Well it has been another rainy week in SC so we have had lots of days indoors. But that's ok because Lucy Mills is discovering all of her new little friends that hang out just above her bed and even above her pink boppy seat. Some friends of ours, the McCardles, gave us this great, colorful mobile with cute little animals that hang down. I hung it on Lucy Mills' crib this week and she will stare at it forever, just so intriged. Wish I had done it sooner!

Don't you just love this sweet face? Everything in this world is brand new to her and she seems to be soaking it all in.

And here is another buddy. I have been putting her in this boppy seat (it's a life saver actually, especially when I am making dinner!) But just recentley has the little lady bug come to life for her. She gazes at it and even swings her arms to touch it.

Another milestone is that Lucy Mills is doing a great job sitting and holding her head up. She is still a little wobbly but getting stronger everyday. We started putting her in her blue bumpo seat to help her get used to sitting up on her own. She likes it for a few minutes but then I think she gets tired of holding he head up.
