Snapshots of Fall 2016

Since I did a horrible job of blogging last year, I am going to unload the highlights off my phone camera from last fall.  Too sweet to forget, too much to do separate posts for all!

Lunching at Zoe's

That time a shark brushed up against my daughter while she was surfing and I just happened to have my camera out. Dear Lord.
At our church when the students move upstairs to the first grade class they are each given a Bible. It was such a sweet ceremony and Lucy Mills began reading hers as soon as she was handed one.

In October we went back to the beach to celebrate my cousin John's wedding.  Lucy Mills and McClain had a ball and danced the night away!

Lucy Mills and Sarah Anne getting their soccer medals.

Trunk or Treat at church with our Gamecock Cheerleader and Iron Man.

Voting on Election Day to (hopefully) make America great again!

On our way to see the Gamecocks play!

After soccer season come basketball season with Coach Trey (who is also McClain's baseball coach)

Lucy Mills with Sarah Louise

On Thanksgiving morning as I was pulling on my tennis shoes to go for a quick run, Lucy Mills asked if she go could with me.  She kept up well!

Thanksgiving with my mini me.

My cute turkeys at the kids' table at Suggie's house.

Thanksgiving dinner in Blythewood.

Decorating gingerbread houses with friends.
Lucy Mills' basketball team pictures.

Grandmother and Grandaddy came in town to support our basketball star and also celebrate McClain's birthday a few days early.

For months Lucy Mills has been asking us questions about being baptized.  Sunday Lucy Mills asked her daddy to go down the front of church with her and pray for Jesus to live in her heart.  It was a precious moment hearing their sweet words together.

Celebrating our birthday boy at Great Wold Lodge.  Our cubs are 7 and 6!

The older they get the more I want to hang out with them!

Christmas party with our Excelsior friends.

This season we implemented a new family tradition called Cocoa Jammy Christmas. Basically we wear our pjs, walk INTO Starbucks to order a delicious treat, and ride around looking at Christmas lights.  We had so much fun and were only slightly embarrassed when we ran into our neighbors inside.

Candlelight service on Christmas Eve.

The day after Christmas we packed up and headed to the mountains in North Carolina to celebrate the holidays with the Mason side of the family.

So many sweet memories were made.
